Overwhelmed much?

*
My Christmas tree is usually up the weekend after Thanksgiving. My Christmas shopping is usually completed by now. I'm not usually as stressed about work as I have been lately. And I'm not usually monitoring my blood glucose and freaking out about how high it actually is. Yes, I am overwhelmed.

Too much to do, but every time I test my blood my glucose is high. I have only had one reading that was even close to normal and I have yet to get a handle on what this whole thing is about. Spending more time researching diabetes and noticing the excessive thirst and overly dry mouth and other symptoms I did not pay attention to before. Or did not equate with illness, if you will. I am not getting
anything done except becoming more aware of my anxiety.

This weekend I will get my Christmas shopping done.

At least.

I hope.

I think Kisses are Low carb. Can give plenty of those.

And 'kisses' is capitalized, means they're important. I agree, thanks Honey. :)

Hang in there. I have threatened to canx Christmas several times already. I have decided that since I can't make everyone happy I will just worry about me and the hell with the rest of them.

Christmas is not an easy time for anyone. AND when your worried about something everything else is in slow motion.
I have diabetes too, its easy, if its made with white flour or sugar dont eat it.Fill up on fruit and veggy's, some protein. If you find its a lot to understand make an app with a dietician.Eventually you will be able to taste sweets etc again but until your under control even tho its Christmas stay away. Its not easy God love you I understand very well what your going through.
