That's Norah. She is a sweetie but skittish. Definitely not a lap cat.

My sister's name is Nora. She's skittish and likes to hide in boxes too.

Her name is actually Norah Jane. All the cats have 'proper' names. I think she would hide from Alice for sure. I have a cat carrier sitting out with a blanket over it for Norah - she runs into it whenever she's feeling a bit insecure.

Meg - you might want to talk to your sister about that. I guess it's harmless tho. :)

My cats? They go through the basket on my bathroom counter, searching for pony-tail holders. They then proceed to bat them around the house, running into our bedroom door while we are in a deep sleep.

Then, exhausted and starving, they carry them over and drop them into their food dish where I'm seen gathering anywhere from 5-100 pony-tail holders about every other day!!!!

Loads of fun, aren't they???

Oh yes - Norah steals little baggies of beads, she eats plastic wrap and lint. Milk rings and ponytail holders are definitely favorites! And those little pieces of elastic multiply, don't you think??
